Immunizations
Immunizations are available at the Broome County Health Department Clinics by appointment.
All routine and travel immunizations recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are provided for all age groups.
Flu vaccination clinics are held at the Broome County Health Department and other sites throughout Broome County during flu season.

Vaccine Information Statements (VISs)
Vaccine Information Statements (vis) are information sheets produced by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/ (CDC) that explain both the benefits and risks of a vaccine to vaccine recipients, their parents, or their legal representatives. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)
VAERS is a safety surveillance program that collects information about adverse events (possible side effects) that occur after the administration of U.S. licensed vaccines. It is a program of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
